Air filter manufacturing and testing

As a Custom Air Filter Manufacturer, we make all filters in a controlled environment to ensure peak product performance. We are also one of the first manufacturers in China to introduce the LEAN and 5S production systems. This helps us to improve the filter productivity and optimal filter efficiency.
In filter production, we utilize filter paper made from various materials, including fiberglass, polypropylene, natural fibers, and some washable, reusable, and biodegradable materials. These are also often used as pleated filter media. In the air filter assembly process, we use cardboard frames, plastic frames, aluminum frames, and galvanized frames, and will stick a sponge, silicone, or EPDM gasket to increase sealing.
Before delivery, we will conduct multiple tests on the filters. The test items include air volume, resistance, efficiency, leakage, water resistance, temperature resistance, etc.

Komtfil MERV Rated Air Filters

MERV ratings are from 1-20. In simple terms, the higher the number, the higher the filtration efficiency and the smaller the particles filtered. Currently, the most commonly used is MERV 6-15.

MERV 6 air Filter

MERV 6 is equivalent to G3 level in EN779. It can filter large particles and is a coarse-effect filter.

MERV 8 Air Filter

MERV 8 is equivalent to G4 level in EN779. It is also used to filter large particles, usually as a pre-filter.

MERV 11 Air filter

MERV 11 is equivalent to M6 level in EN779. The initial level in medium filtration efficiency.

MERV 12 is similar to MERV11, and the filtration efficiency is increased by about 5%-15% on particles of the same size.

MERV 13 Air Filter

MERV 13 is equivalent to F7 of EN779, a standard medium filtration level.
